This combination is a connector system between drive unit and gear box. It is designed as a centering and constructive drive component for heavy-duty drives in underground mining applications as well as for machinery and systems which require a shock-free and unencumbered run-up. Intending to reduce the weight which applies to the gearshaft it contains a flexible and hydrodynamic coupling which is mounted on the motorside.
